Everybody who's fished zone 3, are likely to have some sort of connection to this pool. It's a long, and often times prolific salmon pool, with room for plenty of fishermen. At the top, it's a very exciting confluence, before it shifts into an easier glide further downstream. Readin the pool, you will be able to spot where to fish at what water level. Kairanen is fished from both banks, but it's easiest to fish it from the west bank.

Kairanen is also a good place for sea-trout, especially the lower section. 

There's a shelter by Kairanen, open for everyone to use. Lakselva could boast the biggest salmon of all of Norway in 2016, and this fish was caught in Kairanen.
